Boost to Scottish dairy farmers welcomed by Lyon

Commenting the announcement by the Scottish Government on how £2.5 million of European funding will be made available to Scottish dairy farmers, Liberal Democrat MEP for Scotland George Lyon said:

"This is good news for Scotland's dairy farmers who have not had a lot to cheer about recently.

"It's not a great deal of money, but used effectively it can give a great boost to dairy farmers who have faced extremely low prices over the last year."
